HOW THE GAME WORKS

PICK A STARTERChoose PEPE, WOJAK or APU, then walk north out of HOLO TOWN onto Route 1.

BATTLE IN THE GRASSTall grass hides wild memes. Turn-based fights with ten meme types (FROG, FEELS, STONE, CHAD, BEAR, BULL, DOOM, GREY, GOLD, NORMAL): strong, weak and neutral match-ups, levels and new moves.

CATCH OR RIPThrow a Holo Capsule to catch a weakened meme, or spend the Shards you win on packs in the Gacha Hall. Either way it joins your party and your Dex.

FILL THE DEXThirty memes from the 4chan canon, drawn as our own pixel art: twelve common, nine rare, six holo and three GEM 10 at 3% (GIGACHAD, RARE PEPE and YAP DOLLA, the old stone coin). Beat the two Route 1 trainers. Catch all thirty.

HODL $HOLO$HOLO is the coin for the game and its community. Holders unlock a free Holder Pack every day and better pack odds (see below). Shards in the game are points, not the coin, and are never bought or sold.
